A contribution to debian operating system used by millions around the world including even CERN, NASA is very significant. * If you're bringing laptop, you MUST have a Linux operating system installed in it. Ubuntu or Debian or Linux Mint would be fine. * You must know your way around Linux terminal. Like the commands used to add/remove a file, edit a file etc. * *PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE* set up your Linux environment before attending the workshop tomorrow. This'll help make the *workshop go smoother*.
