My primary concern was the Indian aspect of PlayFair, which seems to
have got completely overlooked in the brouhaha. When I posted the
first message to LIG, it was a call to arms for preventing Apple (or
any other organisation) trying to invoke DMCA-like restrictions in
India. Getting a site for PlayFair was low priority, or even
unimportant. It seems that we have completely failed in the first
objective -- PlayFair has moved outside India, and we are now fair
game for the next vendor who stifles our freedom to host content that
harms nobody except his top line of revenue.
PlayFair and FSF may have won, but India has lost.
