Hi Rakesh,
Thanx for your prompt mail. Infact I mailed Dr. Nagarjun to find out if there is some Hyderabad Chapter or not? As per him we dont have it as yet. So i was thinking of getting some mail ids and contacting like minded people in hyderabad and throwing a small party for them and take it ahead from there.
Please advise and suggest on how we could go about it.

I fully agree with Sajit that we should start discussing some programming topics in the lists and help revive the list ....
Its really great idea,let's make sure that we stick to discussing to free software programming only.
Let me initiate a technical discussion out there ... I have couple of friends who are very eager to start working on HURD but they have no idea on how to go about compiling their own kernel from scratch. Is there someone who is real good at it and can help the newbie's out ....
When we started working on building FSF-Bangalore chapter,this was one of the issue that came up.We here at bangalore planning to hold meetings regularly wherein users (experts & newbie's alike) can bring-in their box's and get their problem's sorted out.
We can even arrange special interest talks on topic's like using or programming GNU/Hurd.
May be we can even build a digital library of free software.If someone wants a copy of GNU/Hurd he can burn it there for a nominal charge.
tarun,please do let me know about any FSF related activities in Hyd off the list.
