Vikram, The site is being hosted by us. As the only activity for a long
time that was happening was by a spammer, with nobody willing to clean it
up, it has been locked down to be read-only.

If people are willing to come up with content, keep cleaning the Spam,
etc. We may make it writable again.

And if you wanted to know who managed the website, (though we were at
fault with no "contact-us" page or link), you could have always done a
"whois", which says its managed by Arun of FSF. And he would have told you
that we maintain it. :-)

I had posted the following mails
http://mm.gnu.org.in/pipermail/fsug-bangalore/2007-April/001196.html
http://mm.gnu.org.in/pipermail/fsug-bangalore/2007-April/001197.html
http://mm.gnu.org.in/pipermail/fsug-bangalore/2007-April/001199.html

If no one objects I propose that we update http://bangalore.gnu.org.in to a more visually appealing wiki-based platform and I can take the main responsibility of maintaining the content with everyone's support.
