Wishful thinking :)
At ~7:50, MTNL trips your modem. So from 8 AM onwards you
are in PayMode. Their software is highly customized to
make mistakes only one way..

What happens if modem is rebooted at 12AM(00:00) but NOT rebooted at
8AM. May be reverse would happen. You would remain in
unlimited (day unlimited) scheme.
Is this true? I dont have MTNL broadband but I think the way there
software works, it should be true.

Hi all,
I tried to install Fedora Core 4 on my system thru a DVD. But i got error
something like this :"Found errors while installing GAWK-x.xxx. This can be
due to media failure/hardware problem. This is Fatal Error and your
installation will be aborted. Click OK to reboot."
Is there any way by which we can skip the packages that are erroneous and
continue with the remaining installation.

Hitesh

Hi all,
I installed RedHat 7 on my M/C and created a boot floppy for booting it.
Now the floppy got corrupted somehow and not working now.
Is there a workaround to this situation.

Hitesh
hello everybody,
Can anybody suggest me how can i use
the string in a shell variable as a pattern in sed,
grep and awk? And tell me if what i am expecting is
really possible or not?
Anyways, thanks a lot to Vinayak and Dinesh for
replying to my small and trivial matters. I hope
someday, I'll be able to help others in these matters
rather than just askin questions, since i am a loyal
member of the linux community, with a strong belief in
Linux, although I am still at the periphery of this
vast forest.
Warm regards,
Sushant
