squid : unable to browse few sites

HI I have a squid server at my work place which i maintain, i really have not issues with it except withe following few sites. I try to access these sites through the maxthon or IE browser but i am unable to browse . There is no error on the sqid server logs. Do i need to flush the cache to resolve this issue . [ILUG-Bom]Gentoo refuses to boot.

Hi, I recently(yesterday) installed Gentoo 2007 from a CD I obtained from Mehul Ved. Problems that dogged me: 1]The Live CD could not boot the ATi Radeon XPress 200(RC410) integrated card on my Intel D101GGC motherboard. 2]I ran the text mode(pseudo-GUI?) installer and refused to install the Gentoo Grub opting instead to add the relevant entries to my Ubuntu 7.04/boot/grub/menu.lst.So,I added the following for Gentoo: title Gentoo 2007 root (hd0,8) kernel /boot/kernel-genkernel-x86-2.6.19-gentoo-r5 root=/dev/hda9 initrd /boot/initramfs-genkernel-x86-2.6.19-gentoo-r5 wherein my Gentoo / is partition number 9(hda9)So everything went fine till I tried to boot my Gentoo install.Kernel was recognized and starts booting,but during booting an error message pops up saying >>Booting (initramfs)..switch_root: "Bad init('/sbin/init) Kernel panic-not syncing-attempted to kill init! and the machine hangs there with the Caps Lock and Scroll Lock LEDs blinking furiously.I have to press the Reset button to regain control.I tried a Google search and all I got was a topic on a development release of a VM.Cansomeone help me with this error? Hello All, Its good to see you all sharing ideas and contributing towards the open source revolution.Well, I got introduced to linux only a month ago by one of my coworkers, and I must admit that I found it a bit difficult to grasp at first.As I am starting to get used to it I am finding it more productive as compared to Windows and getting more excited about it I recently bought an eeePC, Its a marvellous combination of mobility and productivity, what more would you want in a notebook? Since I am really new to Linux, I would really appreciate if you'll could help me improving my linux skills.Could you please suggest me on whats the best way of learning Linux in your opinion ? I mean do you learn by yourself by means of trail and Error or Its worth attending some professional Linux Training ? Also does anyone know of Good Linux training Institutes in Vashi ? is anyone here from around Vashi area ? Thanks, Rehman

Hi all I have been using bluetooth for the past few years. My experience has been improving all the time! The first time I got a cheap chinese bluetooth when I was using FC3. It was detected and running fine after installing bluez manually. And sometime later , I believe after FC5 , bluetooth kernel support was present . I use KDE , so I have been using kdebluetooth. The versions of kdebluetooth till fc7 , came with KBemused server too, which allowed me to control amarok, xmms and noatun from my Nokia Symbian SMartphone. The version in F8 is lacking this functionality. But the good thing is, if you click on Bluetooth icon in the tray, you get a window showing all detected devices. From there I double clicked on my Phone's (N75) icon, I saw 2 services, OBEX Push and OBEX FTP. On clicking obex-ftp , i can see 2 drives (C: and E:) as seen through USB!! And its usable to drag and drop files, I use this method to copy images clicked on my phone. Also one interesting application for the geeky types, if you have a shared computer at home with 2 siblings fighting for chatting acces :-( , one of you can chat through the cell phone using the computer's net connection via Bluetooth !! I have written a small hot-to for this, at http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=125682 I had written this when I was using FC5 . Some things may have changed in the bluetooth config since then , as I have not tried it in F8 . It worked fine with F7 . For contact sync with KDE, you can use kitchensync . You will have to install libopensync, its plugins and libsyncml using yum . And there is one more plugin needed libopensync-plugin-syncml whose packages are not available but source can be obtained at opensync.org . The contacts are synced with Kontact and even the reminders,notes and stuff I think( which I havent tried).
