Trust Linus to be a boring techie. Atleast he could have named it 8.0 Astra or

Just curious to know, how does Linus actually sit and write each and
every line of code in every kernel? Who gives him the list of hardware
that it has to support and who writes modules for each one? How many
techies does it take to make a GNU/Linux kernel?
