Hello,

I have a Red Hat 8.0 version installed on my machine.

I am not able to copy any VCD having .dat files.

I get an "input/output error".  This creates a file in the destination directory but of 0 bytes.

I have tried dd command but in vain. (fails with the same error)

Help me out.
