You write software, tools, whatever. People use them. They become
popular. You become famous. Somthing overshadows what you did. People
stop praising you and start praising that something. Hard luck. It
happens - no point moaning about it and pleading for credit. The
world is not about what you do, but about who did it at the right
time and in the right place. For the same reason that photostating
machines are called Xerox machines.
