I have installed RH Linux 6.2 on my PC: AMD K6/400, 128 MB Ram, S3 TRIO 3D/2X with 4 MB , Samsung 55v mionitor. After successfully booting, the screenbalnks out . I hear 4 short beeps. The video comes on after I press any key.

This makes it difficult to use the system. I have installed same Linux 6.2 on my older Pentium I PC. Could teh AMD CPU have anything to do with this? Win 98 works fine on the same PC.

Please help.
