I recently installed PCQ's RedHat 7.1. I haven't
looked into it much, but I've been having some problems with RPMs.
In RedHat 6.2 and below, I could build binary RPMs
from source RPMs with rpm --rebuild. tarballs with specs in them could be
tackled with rpm -ta. Neither of these seem to work in RedHat 7.1, even though
the man page mentions them as valid switches.
On the flip-side, I rediscovered the joys of doing
everything from source :)
Any advice?
