In shell Script...how do i get a month which was 3 months earlier to the present month......i.e Now its Jan ...How do i get Jan minus 3 which shuld return me.......Oct.....

It shuld b in format of Jan..Feb..only...as i need to search a file by that name and then delete it......File Format is...***Jan_01..., ***Feb_01 and so on...So on Jan1st i need to delete a file which has name ***Oct_01 and this shuld go on for rest of the yr...
