Dear All,
Today at a client's place I had set up a wireless
router and tried Ubuntu 7.04 live CD on his Dell XPS
M1210 lappy. It not only gave the usual laptop grade
Desktop with sound but I clicked on a network icon
with a cross on the task bar and it showed the
surrounding wireless network. On clicking it I got the
interface to enter the 128 bit key and my net was up
and running. Bang out of the box. Thanks to the
preloaded Vista, the customer will himself download
the CD iso from Ubuntu. The wireless network card in
the lappy is some Intel one.
Regards,
Rony.
