I tried to study boot process of it. I also google it. Found little
information on it.
This is quite subjective, at a min. ensure that you:
1. Use the same hardware platform
2. Use the default installation of the distro. (as it may not be
feasible to have the exact same package content dictated by the
dependencies).
3. Define the functionality you expect to be available at the end of
the boot process (should be the same for all distros you are
comparing).
4. Count time from Grub menu onwards.
