Hello All,
I happened to visit a yahoo groups site and in the photo album section I could only see blank squares instead of thumbnails. On clicking the photos I get an empty space that resembles the photo size but no photo in it. If I right click on the empty space and select 'view image', it opens a new page and then downloads the image. Same with thumbnails too. On Netscape in Windows, everything shows normally.
I checked the page source and its mostly javascript which exists in Linux too so why this behaviour. If anyone else is on any yahoo group that gives album access then please try viewing the album in Firefox. I have enabled java script in firefox and for this test I had enabled java too but still no result.

Rony. Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com

I am able to view thumbnails as well as the enlarged pictures using FF 1.5.02 on SuSE 10.0 OSS.
Login in as another user and see if FF exhibits the same behaviour.

Check Edit -> Preferences -> Content -> Load Images -> For originating web site only.

Yes that was the problem. For safety, I always disable downloading images from other sites. This means that the photos posted are stored by yahoo on some other site. Never expected yahoo to store groups pics on some other site.
Thanks Rajen, :) Rony.

It's not that big a deal. It's probably just on a different server. If I was a big provider like that I wouldn't throw everything on one machine.
Sometime on Apr 27, R cobbled together some glyphs to say:

You mean you'd like terabytes of data served off a single web server? If you can set this up, we'll hire you :) Remember, speed is important as well.

did you test it out on FF in Windows? I dont use FF, I use the plain vanilla mozilla and I haven't faced any problems with albums yet.
