Hi
I installed FC2 on my PC and added "pts/0, pts/1" into the file
/etc/securetty. I also changed disable=Yes option to disable=No in
/etc/xinetd.d/telnet. It will let me login as "root" remotely upto 2
sessions. I discovered that the 1st root login as pts/0. After I logout this
session, I relogin as root and it is pts/1 session. After the 2nd time login
as root remotely, I can't login as root remotely. I also ensured the closed
session by typing "last" on command prompt it shows all telnet session are
already closed. I can login remotely with other users name. But terminal
session keeps on increasing by 1 (i.e pts/3, pts/4, pts/5 etc.) and will not
be reset to pts/0 or pts/1 except reboot the system. Does anyone face on
this problem before?
