u can use the mount command
eg: mount -t vfat /dev/hda1(or whatever) /mnt(or whatever)

btw i am assuming you mean the windows partition.. also if ur windows is
ntfs then change accordingly..

relationship between the subject of your mail and the content. what

Sometime Today, KG cobbled together some glyphs to say:
I would have believed that except for one thing. There was no Re: in
the subject line, leading me to believe that it was a brand new subject.
I'm not even commenting on whether this was thread recycling or not.
I'm just confused, because it appears that both subject and content were
entered by the original poster, but they don't agree, so... either one
of them is wrong, or I've misunderstood the question.

i had deleted the original mail so cant look at the headers, maybe
the OP removed the 'Re:' as he wanted a 'new' mail ;-)

to access other windows machine ?? or want to run windows/programs from

If you want to access a windows partition as root then...
mount -t vfat /dev/hdxn /mount_point
x=a b c or d
n=partition_number
or to use it as a regular user then....
In your /etc/fstab add this line
/dev/hdxn /mount_point vfat
rw,exec,users,uid=user_name,gid=group_name 0 0
Reboot your machine and you can browse your partition as a regular user,
even in GUI. :)
