we have a kerberos and samba server running in our lab for authenticating the linux and windows user respectively. both use openldap 2.2.23 as the backend. The problem is we need to synchronize the password in both kerberos and samba. we tried including an overlay called smbk5pwd that comes with openldap3. but we were not able to do that.
