Warren, can you create a debian mirror on gnu.org.in using some tool like rsync.

Will it help in faster download? where is the server located? (I was using apt-mirror , though i didnt try downloading from a different mirror , was using the stock one in it.)

Ok I will setup a mirror of the Debian tree. I will start setting it up today late evening.

That would be super. Then we can point our sources.list to your servers instead. Can you send us the sources.list file that we would need to use for apt-get to work?
