We currently have about 200-300 pieces of two t-shirts:
1. The gray T with collar, Tux and www.linux-delhi.org on left breast,
``All your base are belong to Tux'' motto on back.
2. The white T without collar with Freedel logo on left breast.
You're welcome to pick up as many pieces for sale as you want, at cost
to be determined by the group. Of course, better check out FSF policy
on having Linux without the GNU on T's :)
We have a fair number of CDs, but I can't remember which ones and how
many. At a guess we should have tons of Ubuntu (32-bit, 64-bit and
PPC) which you're welcome to take and distribute. Again, check out
FSF policy first. May also have Debian 3.1 DVDs and some RH clone.
LFY and LA organisers seem to have gone to sleep as usual after
expressing interest in involving the community in the event. One word
of caution: whatever you mutually decide, put in writing, or at least
in e-mail -- differences in perception of what was promised and what
actually delivered have led to unnecessary misunderstandings in the
past.

Dear members,
Can anyone from FSF-India confirm the authorization for coordination to
Alolita Sharma?
I did not know Amol Hatwar requested for the stall or he got
confirmation. He did not seem to have read the mail of confirmation.
Does anyone on the lists have any idea about it?
BTW we are sure to get the space for the stall at LinuxAsia.
Please Advice.
Regards,

Dear Alolita,
Amol Hatwar is one of our volunteers. He is currently out of station and
I am not sure if he read your mail but in order to get confirmation I am
going to ask people from gnu.org.in to authorize me for further
coordination.
As for what part of FSF, I would do everything that is needed and
legitimate, to protect legal rights of FOSS contributers.
Thank you for your reply.

Hi,
I'll be happy to volunteer at the FSF India stall at Linux Asia.
I'm from Kolkata, but probably, I'm going to Linux Asia as a speaker, so I
think I can devote some time for the FSF stall.
Thanks,
Sayamindu

This is what I posted on iLUG-D mailing list:
-- Begin --
We have decided to represent FSF-India in LinuxAsia. There have been
some discussion going-on on the FSF-Delhi list about what we can put on
sale on the FSF stall. There have been a few suggestions..
1. Selling or giving away GNU/Linux (Debian) CDs or/and DVDs.
Experienced members please suggest how many CDs we may need so we can
burn them up, any help in burning CDs is appreciated.
2. Selling T-shirts.
3. Selling GNU/books. A good suggestion. C-DAC director asked for
GNU/books to us in FOSS.IN and we didn't have them there.
4. Displaying GNU/Linux (Debian), GNU/HURD, GCC and any GNU software
that we can put on display. (Any specialists in Blender or other GNU
software?)
5. Give away FSF-India and SPACE handouts.
6. Attend visitors, answer their question related to FSF's work.
Are there any points where ILUG-D and FSF is overlapping?
Are there any areas where we can get help from ILUG-D?
(Help is needed in burning some CDs and DVDs)
Please revert.

Hi All,
Anivar has sent me the FSF posters on 6th Jan. I will be printing them
out this Saturday.
How many of you are willing to contribute some time for FSF-India stall
in this event?
Please reply.

Hello,
I would like to know how far you guys have advanced wrt the FSF-I
stall in LinuxAsia 2006. If you haven't got any confirmation so far,
better get in touch with the authorities. Also, I'd like to know who
are going to volunteer to be there at the stall and what exactly we
are going to do there, apart from, of course putting up the posters
and all.
I think we can print some T'Shirts and other merchandise and sell them
there. We can may be also print some manuals / books for sale.
Do tell me what you guys think about it.
Regards,
BG
