Hi,
Some of my musings on computers hardware and software are available at http://www.geocities.com/shimple0/techcorner.html . If anyone finds any of these useful for student project/research, community development, please feel free to discuss about those either (preferrably) here or personally.
Some more ideas and sample programs I hope to put up on homepage in coming months.

Hi,
While browsing http://www.gnu.org.in/lists, I checked couple of lists there and found
that most of these are having long periods of silence. This means either the FSF
movement in India is having some health problems or people are seriously busy working
on some ideas. What could be the case?
Btw, I have a small suggestion related to above list information page. Could we have
one list description updated (or another column added) there indicating the last
month of activity on that list. It would save one going through the archive page of
each list there and figuring out the same information, and also give a quick picture
of activity on different lists.
I suggest that new information could look like -
- Existing-Description (Month & Year of last activity - #posts in that month)
- Existing-Descritpion (DD/MM/YY of last activity)
Since I am looking for a summary information, I am not suggesting a activity graph for various lists, that would require me similar browsing efforts as in case of via list archives page.
