When insatlling ubuntu in a samsung 40GB sata hard disk it shows some problem and it normally works with normal samsung hard disk. What will be the solution?
It is nothing to do with Haddisk manufacturer. It is the issue with your SATA controller. using command lspci will help you to find your sata controller
Check Kernel Supports your SATA controller
Usually SATA support is comming on newer Kernels.
