Hi,
Do you sell books that the GNU Press in here prints? In specific, I'm
looking for Dr. Stallman's book "Free Software, Free Society: Selected
Essays of Richard M. Stallman".
Second, please correct the link to Dr. Stallman's speeches in
IIT-Madras. The links are given as
http://www.chennailug.org/meeting/info/TheDangerOfSWPatent1of2.ogg and
http://www.chennailug.org/meeting/info/TheDangerOfSWPatent1of2.ogg
where the second link must be
http://www.chennailug.org/meeting/info/TheDangerOfSWPatent2of2.ogg
Thirdly, do you by any change have an unofficial translation of the GPL
in Tamil?
Cheers

Hello fellow webmasters,
I am very much pleased to inform you all that the new FSF-India
website is now up and running. Though the basic work us done very
quickly, a few nagging issues took us 4 months to launch it.
Now we need to test it fully and then we will issue a public notice
about the new site and the FSF-India fellowships.
So please check the site quickly. I would like to issue a mail to
fsf-friends etc. tomorrow.
This whole website work won't have been possible without the
tremendous work of the following people [in no order] --
* Sayamindu Dasgupta
* Sunil Mohan Adapa
* Anivar Arvind
* Anurag Patel
If I have missed anybody please forgive me and append to this list ;)
Have a nice day all, I need reports from you guys quickly.
Regards,
BG

Subject: Increase in spam due to the mirror?

Hi,
I used to subscribe to ILUG-BOM couple of years ago
and later stopped due to other interests. I used to
use this email address to post my messages. I have
noticed suddenly that this email address that never
used to recieve spam is suddenly recieving lots of it.
One reason might be that the pages containing my old
messages have now been mirrored on gnowledge.org and
since indexed by google. These pages on gnowledge.org
contain all the email addresses including mine in
clear text. So I am suspecting spammers have gotten
hold of them and lot of other active/inactive members
have been recieving spam but ignoring it.
I request you to kindly look into this and disable
printing out email address in clear text on
gnowledge.org postings.
Thanks,
Aditya Newalkar
