Revenue from IT

Dear All, Recently I gone thru the NASCOMM Site. They mentioned the last year revenue from IT* Business. Actually my doubt is, whatever amount mentioned in the site, 1. Is it the income(Tax) to our Govt? :) 2. Or is the collective income/profit of all companies? 3. Or ??? Anyone know, How much money is our Govt spending to purchase the softwares/year?
