PHOENIX Physics with Homemade Equipments & Innovative Experiments

Phoenix is a cost effective, fast and sensitive general purpose interface to do science experiments using a PC. The objective is to make science experiments more interesting and meaningful by employing methods and tools similar to the ones used in research labs. The hardware provides Analog and Digital Input/Output channels, Signal generators, Motor controls and Amplifiers. Parameters like velocity, temperature etc. can be digitized and measured with microsecond timing accuracy. The interface circuitry is packaged inside a small box with front panel connector sockets and connected to the parallel port of the PC.
