Folks,

Have any of you experimented (or know of any academic institute that did) with virtual classroom implementation using open-source and/or free softwares?

I hadn't done a virtual classroom implementation, but a demonstration of using Ubuntu Linux LIVE CD, though it failed with a DLP projector, and had to do it on a LCD projector.

YCMOU school of technology, has introduced streaming-video based lectures as one of its teaching techniques. Perhaps, they could use Free software for the same.
