They are suing Daimler-Chrysler for violation of *UNIX* license
And on a preliminary reading of the suit against Daimler Chrysler, it seems that SCO is saying, `you purchased a license to run UNIX sometime in past, from some entity not in existince now; that license still binds you for ever and all your actions and choices of software shall be bound by that license ...' and things to that effect.
Interestingly, the license on which SCO is basing its claim against Daimler-Chrysler is a *source code* license, not a binary only license.
`Open Source' any body???
