Hi,
It seems that C-DIT and Red Hat India sorted out the issue on Trademark. Good that Indian Express which carried the news covered the clarification also.
<snip> The Red Hat India has decided not to initiate legal action against the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) for replicating its Linux operating-system CDs without permission.
A joint statement from C-DIT director Achuthsankar S.Nair and Red Hat India director Javed Tapia said: ``Red Hat India understands the context in which Red Hat Linux CDs were replicated without prior written permission on the use of logos and trademark and in this case Red Hat's Legal Department has opined that no legal action is warranted.'' </snip>
