In our recent interactions with West Bengal Government, government expressed interest in taking up some activities in free software. It would be nice if our friends from west bengal get in touch with me or kiran (kiran@gnu.org.in).

Good to hear this. The current IT minister is well versed in the Free Software nuances of deployment and the philosophy to be unaware of the need to take the issue seriously and put some momentum.

Sounds nice. But how do you know that the minister knows? :) Just mere curiosity though.
