Don't know about masking of e-mail addresses but this service called Spam Arrest is really great..
They have a 30 day free trial and I haven't received a single spam since.

Option: Conceal yourself from subscriber list?: Say Yes
SpamAssassin (www.spamassassin.org) is a good spam filtering Free Software.
