Government of Karnataka releases Kanaja.in - a wikipedia type Kannada website and a Copyright
Karnataka Knowledge Commission released a wikipedia type Kannada website.
We already have good kannada wikipedia, but I don't know whether Karnataka Knowledge Commission had any clue about this before venturing into another one. GOK is spending about Rs. 2.0 crore for this, says Deccan herald report.

It is always better that a foundation by Kannada people own such initiative than Wikipedia foundation.
