Hi all,
Yesterday (20 July 2002) was the first anniversary of the Inauguration of FSF India in Trivandrum. kind of funny that no one remembered it.
Is FSF India a legal entity by now?

I happened to cut across and reach out to the Member Secretary, State Planning Board, Govt of Kerala at Thiruvananthapuram on Jul/12.
I was stunned at the way the Secretary had been informed about Free Software, that it was just another kind of monopoly like Microsoft. This seemed to be an input to him from the Information Kerala Mission.
The half an hour dialogue was fruitful and he apparently asked whether there were anyone in or around Thiruvananthapuram, who could be consulted.
I used this opportunity to stress on the need for an introduction of "Migration Policy" for software technology, so that any decision could be revoked later in greater interest of the Public.
Would someone volunteer ? Currently he is touring in US and would return after a couple of weeks.
