What are the terms & conditions for Revolution OS? I have a copy of the movie which I got from my friend. Now I do not know whether he bought it or rented it. Can I distribute my copy or screen it for non-commercial purposes?
Regards, Debarshi

Can't. It's a fully commercial movie. Public screening is disallowed. AC took special permission from the director to screen it in Linux-Bangalore, and that too after buying the original DVD. Regards, BG

I don't know what the others say but being in the linux culture, I would have made more copies as required to distribute and propagate the free software culture. In fact I am trying to get a copy from somebody here for free.
BTW how huge is the DVD? I hope somebody puts it on the web somewhere for easy downloading.

Hi All
This is not a free software,so you can not redistribute it untill its license allows you to do so. you need to contact the director/producer for it.
I remember some time back some guys from India asked the director's permission to screen the movie for non-commercial purpose and he allowed them to do so.I read this in some forum.
regards

Yes Gaurav... I was the guy who contacted the director. If any want screening, put a mail to the director. He will respond. Sure.
