I thought we will help them with compilation tips. Hacking would come as a sequential step. I am sure there are numerous folks out there seeking a headstart.

Nevertheless i will start my effort, it will be great if you could pitch in.

Mridul Jain mridul.jain@californiadigital.com has good understanding of GNU/HURD OS and its inner workings. He is in Bangalore and has helped me fix critical bugs in my HURD RPCI project. He would be glad to help.
