realplayer problems

hi friends I had installed realplayer ver. 8 on my RHL 7.1 (rp8_linux20_libc6_i386_cs2_rpm.rpm). It worked fine for some time but suddenly stopped working. I tried reinstalling however the effort was futile. Any help in this regard would be music to my ears. the error is due to lilo not loading properly. see this link for ur kind of error http://www.crosswinds.net/~beginnerslinux/lilo.html and one way to solve lilo problems is to use, loadlin and vmlinuz files.. u will find that in the redhat cdrom too, in the dosutils directory. regards, prem

Hello, about my problem with the modem, I can connect with 2400 baud! Slow... It seems a protocol problem; any place where I can find more info? Mounting Netware Volumes

Hi, I use RHL7.1 on my desktop and also win98. This is because i need to use certain files from my netware volumes. Is it possible to mount netware volumes on linux. Using peer-to-peer in win98. we are able to share and browse the hard disks of other clients from my machine. Is it also possible to mount other win98 clients on my linux box in a similar fashion. I needed to send only text messages to certain persons, but however much i tried to change the setting of my outlook from html to plain text, it would revert back to html and send messages only thorugh html. I later found that i was infected with VBS/Haptime virus due to which this problem occurred. When the system was cleaned, i was able to set it correctly to plain text.
