Hi,
I have started using The Reliance LG LXU800 modem for their NetConnect
service.
I have used it under MS Windows as of now.
They provide Linux driver for kernel 2.6.27-7-generic specifically on
the CD which came with the modem.
It did not load with the linux kernel 2.6.30.8-64.fc11 which I have on
my laptop. Search on the Internet only advised me to change to that
particular kernel.
Can anyone provide links or information on how to make this work under
the present kernel and later under the updates which will be coming.
I would also like to know if this can be used on a Asus EEEPC 4G.

Right now, Anumaan CVS is accessible only to the core team. But after
getting appropriate permissions, in future, we will give access to it.

well, thanks for reminding but I know it is based on Wine.
But for playing games in linux using Wine with default drivers, you have to
do hell lot of tweaking and config settings.PlayOnLinux does all that for
you.
So no bubbles are there to prick :)

We all know that Windows games don't run on Linux. Most of them don't even
have linux ports. Many people even advanced linux users keep windows
partition just to play games.
Wine even doesn't help much as it slows down the system. Even worse case
with virtualizations (like VirtualBox).
Now here is a better way of playing games of Windows flawlessly on Linux.

Just stumbled upon it. It contains patches specific to game titles to make
them executable in linux environment . Please have a look.

Hi,
I have an IBM server with 2 identical disks -- SATA 250GB.
I have installed CentOS 5.3 on both the disks.
I want to keep both the disks connected in the server, Boot from Disk-1 and
run a full disk RSync every night.
The problem is, the 2nd HDD won't mount because of identical VolGroup names
and related issues.
Need to change the VolumeGroup of both HDDs and look at other related
issues.
End result, I need to be able to boot from HDD1, mound HDD2 and rsync.
In case of HDD1 failure, HDD2 should be able to work as the main disk.
I know this is similar to RAID and raid is an option, but I have my reasons
for doing it this way.
Looking for someone who can help me ?

FOSS philosophy and am working on BIOS level virtualiazation as part of
my final year project.
I am an ardent fan of Linux Journal and read it religiously every
month from our college library. However due to some subscription issues
the college is not able to acquire the October 2009 edition. Could any

available as it has very important articles regarding my project.
