Possibly many must be aware of Gcompris, from its website -
"GCompris is a high quality educational software suite, including a
large number of activities for children aged 2 to 10."
Gcompris is planning a 1.0 release by 17th November 2020. Last date to
commit translations is 15th November.
Indian language support has not been updated for some time. I
compiled a brief status here -
While primarily its UI translations, but a key aspect is audio also,
which plays if recordings in the language are available.
Please refer to above wiki page for details on what work needs to be

Thanks for the FYI. I have not followed its evolution for the last few years.
Making it mobile device friendly is the right step.
And I am sure, the team will take a similar posture like a banking app
i.e. the security controls, etc.
I suggest that the team announce updates to such lists.
We are reconstituting the core team for gnukhata development. Please
introudce me or ask any of your friends to write to me for developing a
progressive webapp for gnukhata. Nodejs, css, html5, gitlab skills are
mandatory. Ane exposure to financial domain wil be an added asset. A
good understanding of free software philosophy will be appreciated.
Programmers can work from anywhere.
Please reply off the list.
