Hello,
An open mobile workshop targeted at developers and students to
introduce them to open mobile platforms is planned to be held in
Trivandrum, Kerala in March.
I am interested in seeing if we can get some speakers to conduct
sessions on totally Free (Libre) mobile platforms (unencumbered by any
kind of restrictions and fully Free Software licensed) like Replicant,
or Firefox OS or any other similar platform.
If you know of developers who could take workshops on such fully open
platforms please pass on contact information to me and I can reach out
to these people. Please do note that I am not categorizing Android as
a fully open platform here (For example see -
http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2014/02/new-android-oem-licensing-terms-leak…)
There are going to be Android workshops as part of this event and it
would be good if we can get some speakers to represent and introduce
fully open platforms.
Thanks in advance for your help in this regard.
Thanks
Anoop

I am new to mail servers.
my domain name is revant.me (you can know ip/smtp/rdns ptr etc. now)
I bought static IP from MTNL Mumbai and they also changed Reverse DNS for
me recently (Week ago)
I have recently configured mailserver (postfix/dovecot/roundcube), email
domain and mailbox with IPConfig3 on my Server
My server is running debian amd64 stable, the LAMP is ON since May 2013.
With my recently configured mail server I can receive emails.
When I send email from my server to gmail, hotmail, facebook, yahoo I get
"Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" or similar email message:
Example Gmail error:
550-5.7.1 [my static IP] The IP you're using to send mail is not authorized
to 550-5.7.1 send email directly to our servers. Please use the SMTP relay
at your service provider instead. Learn more at 550 5.7.1
http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=10336 vb2si7620646pbc.217
- gsmtp (in reply to end of DATA command)
I tried sending email from my mailserver to my email address on other
domain name by google app gmail server and email on rediffmail, both work!
Yahoo, hotmail, gmail don't accept my emails from my mail server,
Rediffmail does accept my email.
Right now I am receiving mail on my self-managed server and sending email
via gmail's "Send email as" feature so I can send to everyone.
Is any special class of IP or service is required to have my own mailserver?
I have a half working email server which receives 100% mails but sends only
to few email addresses. Any help?
Server Noob.

Hello,
The next meetup can be held on 16th (Sunday). Is anyone against this date?
I will check with the Debian Diaspora team if anyone can take a Debian
Packaging session over IRC. Will inform here about results.
If anyone else wants to take any sessions related to GNU/Linux, they are
more than welcome to do so.
Best Regards,
Rigved
