Hi
I have used kdevelop for sometime.
But I havent figured our the Makefiles part
Even for a small program like "Hello World"
It makes a Makefile of some 100 lines.
Can someone having expertise on Kdevelop please explain me why does it require
so long makefiles and what all things really go inside that makefile.
How is it beneficial to my hand edited makefile.
I tried figuring it out. But it was way too cryptic.
I find it much better to hand edit my own Makefile.

Hi Vasudeva,
It is possible to do what you have mentioned in the mail....
Following is the configuration that is working in my system....
1. Make a file (eg: /tmp/allowedsites) that contain urls of allowed sites.
2. Make a file eg: /tmp/allowedmachs that contain ips of allowed machines
3. edit squid.conf as follows:--
acl allowedmachs src "/tmp/allowedmachs"
acl allowedsites url_regex "/tmp/allowedsites"
http_access allow allowedmachs allowedsites
http_access deny all
See to it that you put these lines in the ACCESS CONTROLS section in
squid.conf...
It seems in your system it didnt work because you didnt mention the last
line "http_access deny all"....Squid by default allows all....
The above lines will be interpreted as "allow access to selected sites by
selected machines and deny others"...

Sabu

i did brother...
check the first mail when i asked u guys abt obfuscation. i did
tell u abt the contest in that mail.

[SNIP]
i hadnt heard of obfuscation before i heard of the comptt. now how
do i get curiosity in something i never heard of. plus if u are
thinking that i picked up some code directly from the mailing list
and reproduced it there, u r wrong. the code came up on the list a
day after the contest. if i had done that i wud have got the 1st
prize , as the guy who did get the 1st prize did very similar
things to those that were dicussed on the mail.
what i did was somethiong diff....
i #defined & re #defined functions like scanf, printf, for , while
etc etc as coke, pepsi, chicken, paneer etc etc.and to do a simple
things like printing a msg ,i jumped 4 functions and did that.
my code was supposed to take a string from a user and print it
char by char. i had 100 lines of code for such a simple thing.
hope matters are cleared now and HOPE U R CONVINCED THAT EVERY
THING WAS /FAIR/...

Halo
I am once again sending this once again. I need help urgently.
I am having RH7.2 installed on machine. On this machine samba is also configured for windows connectivity. >From this machine i need to access folders on unix machine. For this i added two lines in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
umount /n_exp_ob
umount /n_imp_ob
smbmount //raman/exp_ob /n_exp_ob
smbmount //raman/imp_ob /n_imp_ob
Here raman is unix machine name. n_exp_ob & n_imp_ob are linux machine folders where unix machine folders mounted.
exp_ob and imp_ob are unix machine folders.
Folders are getting mounted correctly, but after some time I am getting following messages on screen continuously and machine stop working.
smb_proc_readdir_long: name=\*, result=-2, rcls=1, err=2
Anybody know solution for this.
Regards
Unmesh
