Thanx Mangesh The same problem came up when I initially installed Gnu/Linux. Subsequently I just re-installed Redhat 8.0, and the problem disappeared. But now I will download the the latest i810 drivers for X and do things correctly. Vidhata. The problem is with the i810 drivers if u have these boards. Now the way to get out of it is only to upgrade the X-server's driver. Download the letest XFree86(i810) driver and compile them. This may solve your problem. Help Not able to login through F1 to F6 session

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Linux mail server . I am not able to login from F1 to F6 sessions nor through telnet remotely. From F1 to F6 sessions I am able to get login but not the password prompt. From remote session I am not able to get login itself. Only through F7 GUI i am able to enter in to system. My telnet service is enabled. The only changes I did was changed my DNS setting. Can any one help me in this regard.
