Hey Guys,
I thought I should share this with you. I read this article and
thought I should write to Microsoft.

MICROSOFT to buy antivirus software maker
ZDNet.com - USA
... has announced its intention to acquire GeCad Software, a Romanian
antivirus technology developer, in order to improve the security in
its Windows platform. ...

See bottom for my message to Microsoft ... yeah sorry.. unfortunately
they TOP POST. :-)
Anyhow, they responded, which was interesting.. although it was quite
a generic response.. But I'm wondering if they really do pass this
feedback all the way back to the top for action to take place.
As regards to the relavance of this message on our LUG.. What if we
all offer this suggestion to Microsoft... maybe they may take notice.
What do you think?
Regards
Rishi

don't you guys think this is only work around?
The solution is understand the problem which is resolve the ability
for SELF EXECUTION to take place in the operating system......
In UNIX or MAC or GNU/LINUX this does not happen.
What do you think?

T is the point where the person is standing
Force 1 is centrifugal what is keeping the guy's feet on the ground
Force 2 is due to motion of the wheel (anti-clockwise)... so won't it act on the guy in that direction ?

Thats something interesting. Can you give more details? In my idea, if the
wheel is viewed horizontally, then the human will also be horizontal, with
the feet touching the circumference wall.

Won't the person also experience a force in the direction of rotation... at
a tangent at the point where he is standing on the circumference ???
in simpler words fall forward or backward... It's been a long time since
I've been into physics but still...

Hi,
Anybody aware of good tool (preferabaly GUI) for managing USB devices (Hot Plug/Unplug)?
I am using PCQLinux 2004 which is based on Fedora 1.
I am able to access my USB HDD and CD-ROM. But not sure how to gracefully unplug the device when un-mounting.
It will be better if some kind of tool is available to do this and monitor the devices.
I have gone through linux-usb guide but its geeky way. Any easy way for doing this?
I think the existing drivers for USB controllers are doing well on my box. Only a front end is required. I thought of building some UI but am not familiar with Linux GUI programming and interfacing with hardware.
