Hi,
Hey how could i make a bootnet.img for redhat 9 ?? there is no
"bootnet.img" at images dir !!
I tried from preparing the bootnet.img of redhat 8 , but it failed saying
that "The Second stage of install which you have selected does not match
the boot disk your using..."
I prepared the 'bootnet.img' from redhat-8 CD like this:
# dd if=/mnt/cdrom/images/bootnet.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k count=1
I believe this is correct !!

Fellas,
Do feel free to list out wht you think would be a
good agenda from your perspective for the trip.
Intially i had in mind that we could leave on May
16th 6-7PM, have a FLOSS filled dinner and then go
through the sessions on the next day. Leave at 5ish
and be in bombay by 8ish.
Do pour in your own suggestions please.

Fellas,
Was working with some close source tools and just got
struck by the idea for a "Generic Connection Pooling
and Session Optimisation" applications which are
gpl'ed.
This product in question is knows to work for *any*
tcp/udp based session across routers and will optimise
link usage.
Any options that FLOSS offers or...need we write
one???.

Afternoon all,
I am in need of an engine to index my whole site and
about >2GB of docs(PDF/HTML/DOC/XLS...etc). Have tried
htdig/asearch which both take the machine down and
just can't scale to the size of file-store to be
indexed.
Would appreciate some pointers. Thanks in advance.

Afternoon Fellas,
The numbers as you can see from the website are
absymally low. At this rate it may not make sense to
get things work. Even the economics may not work out.
On a list as huge as the GLUG-BOM i *hoped* to see
better support.
All those who can spare a day please enlist at the
event website.

Fellas,
As a community we need to congregate for the benefit
of everyone. Looking from a "Just For Fun" and "To
Educate" perspective please line out what you think
would be the event you would expect the GLUG-BOM to
conduct.

for mail download. If anybody has done it please pass on the information
