Hi,
I change the default font of a user a/c by this line
in .bashrc script.
setfont default8x9
This works fine, but as soon as goto X(ALT+F7) and
then come back to text console the font changes to the
default system font.
I have tried to change the default system font in
/etc/sysconfig/i18n. But if i do that then on text
console, when the screen becomes full the next line
after the last line scrolls off below the screen and I
cant see what i am typing.
I have another system where i have changed the system
font in /etc/sysconfig/i18n and it works fine. Both
have the same distro RH9. Video card on the faulty
system its builtin on the motherboard(Microtek 845GL
Intel chipset) and on the other its nvidia GeForce2
Could some one tell what is wrong?
