Server too slow high loadavg

Dear ALL, I have been using apache-1.3,php-4.0,horde-2.0,imp-3.0 on HP BL350, with 4GB ram, 4CPU with no issuses. But when I upgraded to php-4.3,horde-2.2.5, imp-3.2.3 on same machine it is dead slow i am not able to login to horde, it logs me out and when i see loadavg its 11. What could be the problem? Guys/Gals, Am gonna be taking a look at an Enterprise' network from a security perspective. With respect to figuring out the loopholes in the n/w from inside and out i need suggestions on the following: > Tools to use..(Saint, nessus, nmap....etc) > Methodology to be followed > Network and OS Exploits to test the n/w for > Understanding and looking for holes in perimeter and DMZ zones. Pointers to docs/infomation with respect to the same will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance folks. Gnoware School and College CDs

At HBCSE we have made two customized Live CDs, called College Gnoware and School Gnoware, one for college and another for schools, with Indian language support based on the latest Knoppix 3.4. The problem is that the /etc/resolv.conf is not updates automatically. So for that add these lines to this files nameserver 202.138.97.193 nameserver 202.138.96.2 ** Incase u r using an LG handset to improve the speed slightly increase the baud rate in the handset. and also in /sbin/rconnect file....
