Hi , I'm back with another query for a BSP.....N= FS mounting. I have configured everything correctly. For booting, via Grub, instead of using DHCP,BOOTP or RARP , I'm just p= assing kernel command line arguments, like : root (hd0, 0) kern= el /boot/bzImage rw root=/dev/nfs nfsroot=.... ip=..... = The kernel boots fine, it takes in almost all the parameters correctly, lik= e, bootserver, rootserver, nfsserver, host ip, host name, gateway ip, etc, = etc...... However, the parameter rootpath= is left blank. The error following this is as follows, VFS:Cannot open root dev= ice "nfs" ro 00:ff Please append a correct "root=&qu= ot; boot option. Kernel panic:VFS:Unable to mount root fs on 00:ff What is this "00:ff" and what is wrong with /dev/nfs? = I have created this pseudo -device as follows : mknod -m 644 nfs c 0 = 255 Mitul, Chetan....any suggestions? hi rohit i am coming for ILUG meet on 8th of this month . can u replace those suse 9.1 5 cd's with blank media. or you r going to charge for it pls let me know. if ur going to replace with blank media i can bring blank moserbare cd's. hi does any one have the driver for conexant hsf internal modem. pls help me if any one has then pls send me as an attachment or pls tell me web site from where I can get this drivers. Java Desktop System Help!

Hi, Today i got Java Desktop System 2003 ...i`m getting an error during setup saying "An error has occured during Installation"...i checked out the jds forum and other related sites....but didnt get any help....so anyone who has used Sun Java Desktop ...pliz help me(btw...Sun java desktop is based on suse 8.1)...i get the error when loading of YAST2 fails..dunno for wat reasons...but suse 8.1,8.2 and 9.1 worked properly on my system...i doubt there might be some problem with the cd...pliz help... My system specs are: PIII-1 Ghz,256MB SD ram.Intel 810 MObo (onboard graphics card)
