Help for WINE

Hi Linuxers I'm trying to install wine on SuSe Linux 9 & getting following error. Unresolved dependencies: Installing wine-20050419-0.1[Local Packages] There are no installable providers of (any)libXxf86dga.so.1[[Any]] for wine-20050419-0.1[Local Packages] wine-20050419-0.1 is scheduled to be installed, but this is not possible because of dependency problems. Marking this resolution attempt as invalid. From where I can get these dependencies? Regards Dinesh Dalvi

Well yes using VNC or XClient is possible...! But the reason why i always used to do it via a physical console was coz anyways i had to go into the DC for putting the CD's in. But ur idea of loopback mounting the ISO is something i will definitely try out..! What if i have a the files and directories on the CD have been dumped and not the ISO...! And about the cd, i've used the iso image via a loopback mount, and it installs fine (oracle server i mean, which also installs the client, i assume). do explore this option before loading a full X server environment onto the server. FreeBSD 4.9 CDs wanted.

Hi, Anyone has freeBSD 4.9 discs? The books available are with 5 and Linuxbazar has only 5.3 and I am specifically looking for 4.9 For me to download will take decades or atleast months. Is there anyone out there with a formula 1 connection or better still has 4.9? Accessing home PC from office (behind firewall)

Hi list, I've been looking for a way to access my home machine from my office but to no avail. They have ftp blocked, internet access is through a windoze proxy server (any more than three login attempts & it locks my account so no experimenting) & no access to outside world via telnet/ssh (u see even ping google.com fails :( ) Anybody has a way out (or in ;) ) I wouldn't mind reading the manpage if I knew which :) Regards, -- Soumen Dass [Registered Linux User # 272639 - Linux nova 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl i686]
