Subject: [ILUG-BOM] Fwd: [OT/HW] How to unglue AMD Phenom II from it's heat sink?
Greetings HW enthusiasts,
The motherboard of one of my system is RIP. When I took out the CPU
heatsink+fan, it came out with the CPU firmly stuck to the copper!.
I have tried to separate the CPU from the heat sink without much
success. I am afraid if I try any solution it might damage the CPU.
Any suggestion to resolve this 'sticky' issue would be much appreciated.

What about yanking it gently with a broad flat screw driver?
Regards,
Rony.
Due to throat infection and some fever, I am unable to attend today's party. More specifically will miss making presentation on Treemapindia
Cheers!

Hello, are there any plans to create a proper website for ilug-bom?
I voluteer (again) to build and maintain the website, just that I would
need suggestions and contributions on the content front.

Dear all,
If there is time, one of our team would like to present some of the FOSS projects we are working on (15mins) including ERPNext, which has been recently listed as one of the world's best open source applications of 2013 [1] by InfoWorld magazine along with Wordpress and OpenERP.
We have also done a couple of side projects including a prototype for Prof Shah of IITB [2] and have also made an open data browser [2]
