Reducing it by some means, could help. c. Parallel lines, may be a cause for line attenuation. (Assuming that signals are relayed to a non-receiving device). A single line from the exchange, would be plugged, in the filter. Two other wires, one to the DSL router, and the other to the phone. Bas! That's it. There should be some improvement. Synovel Technologies is an open source product start up founded by graduates of IIIT Hyderabad and is based out of Hyderabad. Having been recently angel-funded, they are currently looking to hire full time employees for the product development. The candidates should be passionate about open source development, self-driven and must be proficient in the technologies they know. There are two roles on offer: a) Linux hacker with experience in handling various servers (email, jabber etc.), server side programming abilities with knowledge of any scripting language. The candidate must have over at least two years of experience in hacking (maybe at college or work or wherever!) and should be proficient in what they do. b) Php + Ajax developers with at least two years of experience in development of such web applications (back-end or front-end). Should have previously developed at least two web applications based on these technologies. Note from Synovel: We are not looking for people who were on the teams that worked on these projects, we are looking for people who involved hands in actual development! Hi all, Is the site being migrated to Apache 2 or in general is something going on?I'm unable to access the wiki(404 Not Found) and when I try to give only http://db.glug-bom.org/ ,I get a page with the address http://db.glug-bom.org/apache2-default/ and It Works! in bold and big font size.This is as of Wed Oct 10,00:08 hours.Is this issue limited to me or is it a general problem(feature?) Dear Linuxers, We know Dr. Kalam was a FOSS advocate, and as soon as he was told that his own (President's) web site was powered by non-free technologies, he had it switched to a FOSS based server. All, May be this isn't the right place to post this, but I'll do it anyway. This is because, it is worth it. Title: Head First Java Authors: Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates URL: http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/hfjava2/ The reason, I have recommended this book for C/C++ programmers (or beginners) is because, one actually *_learns_* from it. You don't just /read/ it. "... It excels at teaching" - Slashdot.org Sure, there aren't many Java fans or for that matter programmers interested in Java on the list, but would be helpful for one or two. After all, if you know OO, learning OO languages isn't too /difficult/. (Yahoo! has bouncing emails to the list, again! :( ) http://www.ubuntu-in.org
