Don't expect that all cool things are there in it (and work out-of-box), the current model is for developer oriented. Correct me, if I am wrong.. Hello Friends, Some of you might have heard regarding Linux based open source mobile phone OpenMoko. OpenMoko is a GNU / Linux based open software development platform. Developers have full access to OpenMoko source and they can tailor their implementations to underlying hardware platforms. Currently its priced at 300$ (Approx INR 12300) and doesn't have stable OS as well as complete applications. The Consumer Version will be available in October and will be priced at 450$. Apart from better hardware, it will have stable OS and good applications. Oracle on RHEL 4

Hi, We have installed Oracle 10gR2 with patch updated to 10.2.3 on a RHEL 4 , update 4. Some how the dba made a mistake to install the database file on / folder instead of the /var folder which had loads of disk space. Now the / folder is used upto 100% of the disk space. Can creating a softlink to /var/database/ help in this case. Is there any other way to resolve this problem thanks Hozefa

automated Ubuntu package backporting

If you feel antsy about trying out the latest gutsy tribe releases but want that 1 slick new package AND don't want to mess your current install with dev libraries try this prevu - https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Prevu Basically an automated backporting script that compiles the newer package from the further release, under a fakeroot :D . Giving you brand new packages ! I didn't know about this util until i read a post in the qemu list !! Used it for my qemu 0.9.0 in ubuntu feisty. And the thing works clean. regards, C
