Have you tried kdebluetooth? It has quite many functions and automation . I use it regularly with my phone , it also has GUI for pairing and entering PIN. -- The Future is Open...The Future is LINUX

Friendly Bluetooth

Greetings , I was wondering if three are any apps that manage bluetooth services provided by a remote device . Currently I can use all services like dial-up [via rfcomm and wvdial ] , sent & receive [ via obex] , hid [ via hidd ] . The issue is its kinda of hard to get someone else who isn't a techie to accept it . More over pairing is done using command line something that a normal cell phone user doesn't want to do . Is there any appp like the M$ app called BLuESomething that is shipped with most bluetooth dongles that helps manage services and devices all in one application ?? Cheers { Francis; }

modprobe: FATAL Error

hey guys, Thanks for ur advises, but im stil facing the same issue. Let me give more details to all of u. 1. I am dual booting with Fedora Core 2 and Windows XP. 2. Fedora was working fine initially. When i was away, my parents used my PC, and they never used Fedora, they used Windows only. So you can say, Fedora was not used for around 2 months. 3. When I am back, I start Fedora and the booting stops with the following error message: modprobe: FATAL: Error inserting floppy (/lib/modules/2.6.5-1.358/kernel/driversblock/floppy.ko): Device or resource busy. IMP: the booting stops at the same point even if i try with CD-1 of fedora. btw..Harsh, Vivek, Rony, Siddhesh, thanks a lot for ur prompt replies. But i am quite new to this linux community and have limited knowledge of this OS. Hence, i do not know what to do when u say "you might need to reinstall your boot loader" . thanks again all.
